PPI team
We convened a PPI group comprising six patients with experience of severe infection and hospital care to advise on study design.
They attend advisory group meetings, provide PPI feedback, communicate it to the wider project team and ensure that feedback is integrated within the project design and analysis.
They help prepare lay summaries and
patient-facing materials, contribute to analysis and report-writing, and are involved in dissemination of findings.
