I am Professor of Health Services Research at the University of Leicester. I have particular interests in AMR and antibiotic overuse, and researching acute care settings.

I am Principal Investigator for the iSAMPLE project, and have led qualitative research on URKI-funded studies of broad-spectrum antibiotic use in hospitals internationally, and antibiotic stewardship in UK health care settings. I am Associate Editor for the Journal JAC-AMR.
